Custom Awareness Ribbons

How It All Began

When you have very little to help when a disaster strikes, you tend to look at the "what" you can do to help. This was the case for our family with September 11, 2001. We had very little to give, but we had talent. So our family joined together around our kitchen table and put our talents to work creating a new style of awareness ribbon. Little did we all know, they were going to be a hit and keep us busy for the next two months!

It all was so worth it. In the end we were able to take a very tiny amount and turn it into a huge amount. It helped a family when they thought all hope was lost. It helped us as well, to feel like we were doing something to help out.

Our new style of ribbons were very popular, but it was years before we finally decided to do our ribbons on a large scale, step out and buy a website just for our ribbons. A special custom order helped us to decide, as well as the devastating earthquake in Haiti which started us on another fund raiser and new ribbon design. So here it is, Custom Awareness Ribbons. We hope you enjoy the ribbons as much as everyone else has. Please  come back often, as we plan to design many new styles for new awarenesses.
